United Way of San Diego County’s Women United (WU) raises awareness and much-needed funds to help solve community problems. Women United has a simple goal: Mobilize the power of women to improve lives in our community. Members take action on issues that hit closest to home by giving, volunteering and advocating on issues that affect women and children. Since its inception in January 2009, Women United has grown its membership, representing women in the business, financial, legal, and service industries, plus education and health care. Women United provides San Diego women a meaningful philanthropic opportunity to learn, lead and advocate on issues critical to advancing the common good.
